Considering Active Rain is announcing that today, 7/11, is the one-year anniversary of the site, let me say congrats on being the very first poster. They should buy you a steak dinner or something.

We just hit 100,000 members and I wanted to circle back and say thanks for writing the very first post on AR.  You probably didn't realize at the time the significance your post would have on this community.  Today we honor YOU as much as the 100,000th member to join our network.  Thanks Brett!  :-)

Brett what did the link lead to?  I get an error page now... there is a post on AR today about  this being the first post on ActiveRain.

What made you try it?  Did you have any idea it was the first blog?

Brett, I wrote a post about this being the first traceable post here in ActiveRain. Like Maureen, I too am curious to learn a little about the history of AR and why you decided to post it? Thanks... Michael

Thanks Jay, Maybe I'll get a thousand comments?

Michael, The day after I received my real estate license I started a website.  I thought I might have an advantage over agents that were advertising their email addressess as their website urls.  Active Rain was a natural extension of my strategy and came along at a perfect time.

Maureen, This post was originally a link to a blog I had on another website that is long gone.  Seems like a very long time ago.  I don't remember exactly what the post said, but it was about making your own market conditions through negotiation.  Some smart tech geek could probably find it pretty quick.  Once something goes up on the net it rarely goes away.

All of my Twitter feeds are being redirected to this post.  What's up with that?

Is everyone having this problem?

I don't know Bob.  I'm sure the AR team is working on it.  I'm amazed they have as few issues as they do with such a big network and thousands of users.
