The Bosque Farms Rodeo Association maintains a premier location for New Mexico rodeos, horse shows, and other equine-related activities, as well as such community events as the Bosque Farms Community Fair.
With facilities located just 15 miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Bosque Farms Rodeo Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of a rural, equestrian lifestyle. To this end, the association maintains a top quality horse arena, used regularly for horse shows, barrel racing, roping, dressage, and other equine activities, as well a "Cowboy Hall" that hosts birthday and wedding celebrations, community dances, meetings, community fair exhibits, and other family, community, and business gatherings.
One of the association's regularly sponsored activities is a monthly "Play Day" for horses and riders, that features all sorts of games and contests, all in a fun, low-pressure atmosphere. The arena is also the site of regularly schedule barrel racing for both the ZBRA and the "Tuesday Night Barrels" competition, the New Mexico Buckskin Horse Association Shows, dressage shows, various 4H and FFA events, and the Winter Rodeo Series, as well as numerous annual or occasional events like the St. Jude Saddle Up Trail Ride.
The Bosque Farms Rodeo Association's Arena and activities are just part of what makes Bosque Farms, NM such a great, and horse-friendly, place to live!
