Agent Office Vista 64 bit compatibility

Hello all. Just wanted to get the following information out there. I just received it from Emphasys Software.

"We just ran several scenarios on installing AgentOffice v10.0 on to a 64bit version of Windows Vista and determined that AgentOffice is compatible with Windows 64 bit Vista...The customer needs to make sure that they have installed both the latest updates for Windows x64 SP1 AND .Net Framework 3.5 SP1. Below are the 2 links that will provide the updates needed to be installed, prior to installing AgentOffice v10.0.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems

When installing AgentOffice v10.0, it will be sufficient to "Save" the download onto the user's Desktop and run it from Desktop after download is complete.

Hope this clears any concerns regarding AgentOffice's compatibility with Windows Vista x64."

Sorry if this posts twice....

I downloaded those patches, and I keep getting a message that says windows is configuring agent office whenever I try to do something like click on a plan, or listing. Any thoughts? Is this happening to you?

I wish I had a quick answer for you, but I do not. You have a couple options. You can join the Agent Office Yahoo user group at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/onlineagentusers/ and see if someone there can help you. There is a very good chance that that will happen. There are fellow users on there who may be able to help.

If the users group does not help, you'll need to purchase their tech-support, as they will not return calls or e-mails if you do not have an active support account. You can purchase that for $295/yr. at the following link - http://www.agentofficehq.com/pricing/ . The phone number for Agent Office tech-support at 888.661.6600. They will not respond if you do not have support.
