Image of several babies crying, laughing and eating.

There are babies everywhere in Nashville Real Estate.  There has been an unusually high birth rate recently in Davidson and Rutherford counties. In fact, nationwide...2007 saw the largest number of babies born in history.

According to demographers, the economy plays a large role in birth rates....and apparently, most of these babies were conceived before the economy declined.

Baptist Hospital has recently completed an expansion of its antepartum and neonatal intensive care units because of a high number of high-risk pregnancies.  The antepartum unit serves women who are trying to prevent premature labor...and it has grown from 6 beds to 21.  The neonatal unit has gone from 27 to 52 beds.   This increase is due in part because there are more pregnant women with diabetes and obesity...and a growing number of multiple births due to fertility treatments.

If your family has increased and need a new home in Nashville Real Estate, I'm just a phone call away.
