You know how you can tell that Ikea car is fake?   Because if it was real it would come in a great big flat pack cardboard box.  Plus my girlfriend would already have 2 of them here at the house waiting for me to assemble them with those crappy little dowels and that stubby little allen key and one less cam nut than the car needs for the wheels to fit on, and instructions in every european language of the last 3 centuries.

Hi Robert

It did have an allen wrench but it didn't show up on the page.  Better watch out they might be coming and then so much for your basement

Lynn - Love the picture - IKEA stores opening up here in Central Florida. I remember when my husband and I lived in Germany, we bought furniture from outlets like these - a fun way to buy. Now, I'm not sure I would buy a car :).

Mortgage rates are dropping and hovering around 5% and lower.

Lynn, my only question is... how big a baggy do I need for the "extra" parts? :-)

Hi Lynn,

When do you see today's Bank of Canada's drop in the Overnight rate to 0.25% reaching consumers?

Hey Bernice

We are getting some action and the first of the lenders are saying within a 24 to 48 hour period they will be affecting their bank prime rates.  Most will wiat until the end of April and even the end of may

Thanks Lynn.  I just checked my own mortgage and I see that CIBC has dropped their prime to 2.5% today.  We were really lucky, we renewed last spring when they were still doing variables at Prime Minus 1%.

This is really great news for first time buyers.   They don't know how good they've got it right now.
