CNN profiles Sun Meadow Resort near Worley Idaho (just a hop-skip-jump from Coeur d'Alene Idaho).

Nudist resort earns top honors, mention on CNN

Sure, it's still 20 degrees at night, the snow is still falling and the skies are still gray.

But go ahead, get naked. It's good for your pocketbook.

A CNN feature story on Tuesday about the virtues of "nakations" included a few notes about a North Idaho resort that landed in the top five places "to forget your worries -- and your swimsuit."

In the article, Erich Schuttauf, executive director of the American Association for Nude Recreation, said the economic recession is "doing us a lot of favors, maybe because there's the idea that if you've lost the shirt off your back, you should go nude."

Janna, this one is great comic relief!! Thank you for giving us this story! I am sure it will be talked about around many water coolers in many offices today!!

It does seem funny - but nudists take it very seriously!! There is a whole neighborhood down there - so, if you are a nudist - apparently North Idaho has an awesome community for you!!

Sounds like a great getaway. I don't think the commonwealth will let that happen around here. Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best.

Hi Janna, That's funny, if you've lost the shirt off your back...you can just go nude! I probably won't be taking a nakation... but hey, to each - his own!
