The Sandy Springs area outside of 285 has seen prices and number of transactions drop over the last few months. It's tough to make too much from the graphs because the number of transactions for this area are pretty small. There is also a very wide range of prices. The average price fluctuates a lot depending on how many $300,000 homes vs. the number of $million plus homes selling in a particular month.
But it looks like prices have broken down to a range they were in between 2002-2005.
I live in this area. A home just about 10 houses down the road from me gives me an indication about where prices are headed. A renovated home sold about two years ago for $540,000 and now is on the market again. They just reduced the price to $449,000.

Year over year, total transactions fell from 16 to 11 (-31%)
Year over year, average sales price decreased from $555,094 to $378,852 (-32%)
