Think of the front entry door as a smile on the face of the home. You want it to be clean (no broccoli in the teeth), fresh, and inviting.  A quality door with attractive door hardware  will imply that this house is quality thru and thru.  It must operate smoothly.

Choose accessories for the door and surrounding areas that play up its features (now we are talking lipstick, blush, and mascara).  Look for an elegant entry light, a charming mailbox, and house numbers that are visible from the street.

Potted plants, topiary and a seasonal wreath are like jewelry enhancing that perfect smile.   Now just make sure the inside "wow" lines up to that outside smile.
