Reasons To Consider Lake Ridge Virginia As Your Home #5 (Covenants)

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executives

Lake Ridge is one of the ten largest subdivisions in the United States.  It has both the resources and reputation that enable it to attract some of the very best association managemant people around.  The benefit to Lake Ridge property owners is the fact that the community always has its' "best foot forward".  That helps maintaintain property values.

Covenants is one of the very active departments in the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association.  They regularly inspect the exterior of homes and the property to assure compliance with the association's covenants.

Deteriorated rake boards are one of the most common items found during their inspections.  As Spring approaches many homeowners will be repainting their homes.  I developed this photo to remind property owners of the need to repaint rake boards when the rest of the home is painted.

There are other reasons why Lake Ridge is popular with both military and civilian homeowners

Karen - This is a very complete series on Lake Ridge Virginia.  I never knew what a rake board was; now I know what to call that part of the roof.

Karen--What is the purpose of the rake board? It is not something we see in MN...Your reports are excellent as usual! :)

Teri  A rake board covers the end of the roof rafters under the eaves - it is a finishing board.  It will also cover flashing that will go under the roof shingles in the case of town homes.  Karen

Karen, How many families live in Lake Ridge?  It sounds like it must be a very large community.

Marchel  Lake Ridge has 38,000 residents and 7,000 residences.  It is as large as some large towns or small cities.  It is 4,400 acres, 1,200 of which are treed common ground.  It also is sited along a huge reservoir which adds to the undeveloped land - if you don't like ttrees you won't like Lake Ridge.  Karen

Karen I am aware your reports on Springfield are an integral part of your market strategy to be current on many facts throughout Fairfax County. The obvious goal is to provide your clients with the very best possible representation and blog posting is an excellent method and may include posts about other interesting locations in our area
