Have the March winds taken some of the shingles from your roof?

The month of March has always been known for being windy. These strong winds can wreak havoc on the shingles on your roof. It can send your shingles flying into your neighbor's yard.

Now is a good time to have a certified roofer to check your roof and evaluate whether or not you have any wind damage. Many roofers will not charge to give you an estimate, although some do charge to write you an estimate. You may also want check with your home owners insurance to see if wind damage to your roof is covered.

Out here we can have high winds any month of the year. It just depends on what kind of high pressure system is sitting over there in the high desert in Nevada, southern Utah, and northern Arizona. The Santa Ana winds can reach hurricane force.
