Excitement is in the air! Big time fishing is just around the corner!
The 29th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournamentis coming June 9-16, 2007 to Morehead City NC
Last year several ladies of my Coldwell Banker Spectrum Properties office entered in the Lady Angler Day and went offshore to the "Big Rock" for a fantastic day of fishing!
Some of us were able to get together for the Big Rock Kick Off Dinner!
We were captained by my Broker in Charge Casey Wagner aboard "Gracious", a 46' Merritt .

Our team was one of 18 boats out of the 71 boats participating to catch a Blue Marlin...isnt she pretty:

Docking in Morehead after a fantastic day...it was alot of fun bonding with the girls from work. (thats me in black tank top)
The funfilled days of the tournament obviously have serious anglers reaching for a purse worth lots of money! Last year over a million was prized and over 100,000 donated locally for charities. Certainly the best part of the event- giving to the community while having fun and enjoying our local resources!
I look forward to being a spectator this year at the Morehead Waterfront Big Rock Weigh Station. Hundreds of people will gather daily to see the big ones come in for weigh in. All day long we watch the message boards and listen to streaming simulcast of the captains radios...
I encourage you to enjoy the activities put on by Big Rock and their sponsors. I promise you it is alot of fun for all ages..and oh yeah, bring your camera!
