Thoughtful Thursday!  Hang In There Realtors!  Take Great Care Of Your Current and Past Clients Now And You Will Be Doing Great When The Market Picks Back Up!

If you work hard for your clients and go above and beyond for them, they will refer you to their friends and family.  If you can do this in today's market, when it picks back up, you will be doing great.  This is the time that we have to really show how dedicated we are.  If you have not kept in touch with your past clients, you need to start.  I have seen some agents that are just in it for the one paycheck and now they are wondering why they have no business.  You need to always stay in touch with past clients!

We all know the right things to do; we just have to do them.

Hey Nate,

Excellent coaching. My clients from the past are the life-blood of my business. They have kept me in biz through thick and thin...truthfully I can never/ever do too much for them!

I agree that we should ALWAYS look after our clients, the best way we can.  We have to stay in touch, through everything.  In a bad market, they are probably having a bad time too, so it's even more important to stay in touch, even if just to call and say hi, and ask how they're doing...

I totally agree.  At least half of my business is repeat or referrals from past clients.  I have listing appt today for a guy who bought 4 years ago.  Today he is married, baby on the way and considering selling.

The funny thing is, most past clients have become true friends. Staying in touch is a joy!
