The California market has really picked up here in the beginning of 2009.  California Existing Home Sales are up over 100% over last year at this same period.  The unsold inventory index has dropped 60% from last year.  Last year at this time we had a 16.6 month inventory in the state and now we are down to 6.7 months.  That is a very healthy sign for the California housing market and pointing to a near bottom for the state.  Follow the link below to see the latest statistics for the state of California.
