I have mentioned that we had a wonderful expo in Orlando, Florida. It was a lot of fun and a big success. Since we were in Orlando, however, we HAD to take at least one day for fun. Our wonderful friend Terry Haugen offered to give us a guided tour of Universal Studios, and we were happy to accept the invitation!

Our friend Fernando joined us with Antonio (photographer and chef), and the party got started! We met at 10am outside of The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company at the entrance.

Here we are at lunch, and we are finally (sort of) letting you see Lucas, our friend from Canada (can you see him there behind Rhiannon?)
Most of the crew were recovering from (and raving about) The Mummy ride as we sat down for lunch. We even got my mother, Terrylynn, on the Jurassic Park ride (she NEVER goes on anything with such a drop!)
The above photo was taken while I was on The Simpsons ride with the kids. I was the only adult willing to go on that one. It was a fun ride.
We had a great time, took a MUCH needed day off, and met some wonderful friends in person. Everyone was just as cool as I knew they would be and I am so happy we got to take the time to get to know each other outside of Active Rain!
I look forward to meeting more AR friends in "real life" this year at the StagersLIST Expos and during other travels.
