Okanogan County in Eastern Washington is a beautiful place, and may be one of the last places to find affordable housing. The Okanogan County Community Action council is a great organization that offers homebuyer training on a regular basis.  As some people may know, the State of Washington issued too many tax-exempt bonds this year, which has cut back the available funding for their popular House Key program.  However, due to the econamic demographics of Okanogan county, many people will still be able to qualify for the below-market rates of this program.
