Investor Marketing Tip - TIME IS MONEY, make the minutes count!

There are a lot of things you can accomplish in five minutes. Some people can write a blog post in less than 5 minutes. Some people take over 5 minutes to brush their teeth. TIME IS MONEY - so think about productive activities that you can complete in less than 5 minutes, and do one task daily.

Your time is more valuable than you know, so it's good to start out with a marketing plan. Make a list of activities that can take less than 5 minutes. This could include writing a blog, adding content to your website, or communicating with clients and prospects. Then step back for a while and think about where you want your business to go. You need to focus on desired outcomes, action steps and your time to budget dollar.

For example, if your marketing plan is focused on growing your business with investor clients, you should take 5 minute actions that can help you achieve this goal. Creating a free Partner Account with TReXGlobal, adding an investor tab to your website, and sharing your web tools on Craigslist are all examples of activities that take less than 5 minutes, that can help you gain investor clients and grow your business in 2009.

I agree with you. Make your time count! I try to focuss my morning routines to include the first 30 minutes of reading and responding to emails, checking my website, checking face book, checking linkedIn, reading blogs, and active rain. I go back to my website for review several times a week for positive changes that I can make that will make it easier to use and to provide more relevant information.

I try to do it again by the end of each day before I go home. Making your time count is crucial to building any business.

I am concentrating on direct-mail to rental farm markets in my area....mailing my brochure to unsold homes, FRBO on CL - at least 20 per week....I do it early in the week so that I can get names/addresses for next week's mailing,

I also make LISTS - loads of lists that I take with me and have on my Google home page....I get satisfaction crossing off or deleting them as done and get the feeling of accomplishment.

Jim, I'm trying to shorten my morning routine to less than an hour, and it's been tough! I've been using a timer recently, and it has actually really helped me with focusing my time. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Wallace, I do the list thing too. I usually like to start off with a fresh note paper every day, and I add tasks to it as the day progresses. When everything on my list is crossed off by the end of the night, I go to sleep :)
