HI Gary, It certainly was an honour for me to do this for our troops. I was referred to the mall owners by a local Realtor, Tammy Dufault with Century 21 that I do Home Staging work for. You just never know will life will take you do you?

Hi Donna, I still get goosebumps every time I see it. It will be there for years to come. I didn't really think about that aspect of the wall graphic being in public display while doing the work, but it really makes you humble to think of how many people will stop and look at the memorial and what it means to them. The first afternoon it was up, I was able to spend the afternoon there listening to the comments of shoppers as they came in. As the mall is adjacent to the base, many of the troops and their families shop there. They were truly touched to see the support in the community.

Hi Rhonda, It was a very moving experience the day it was unveiled. It was tough not cry when the piper started playing the lament at the end. The mother of one of the soldiers was there and she was very touched by the support being shown by the community for the efforts of the fallen soldiers.

HI Donna, It started out as a job I was commissioned to do and ended up really bringing home all the sacrifices our troops make to keep peace in the world. Even though I don't know anyone personally in the military, this wall graphic has made the news of the latest fallen soldier much more personal to me now.
