Inventories continue to stay low in the River North area of Austin.....

The River North (RN) area of Austin still defies logic of a buyer's market with continued low inventory levels.  

This area includes the following communities:

1. River Place on Lake Austin
2. Steiner Ranch
3. Westminster Glen
4. Glenlake Estates and River Pointe
5. Grandview Hills and Estates and The Parke
6. Greenshores
7. Areas abounding these communities along Lake Austin and Lake Travis.

River Place inventories remains at a 15 year low as Steiner Ranch reaches inventory on the market to total inventory at near normal levels.  This startling fact can cause our area market to move very quickly towards a seller's market when the market rebounds; whereas, many areas of the country are facing massive inventory concerns that would take considerable time to correct as the market corrects.
