Stay around positive people to remain positive yourself…

I've been around for awhile and every place I have worked in has had them so I speak from experience. They are out there and they are negative from the word go. It's either too hot, cold, shoes to tight, not enough sleep and so on... Then there is the person you want to be around the one like me the one who comes in every day with a smile and ready to take on the day. I'm not here to tell you every now and then I have a bad day and not one to be around I do but all and all I stay positive.

I try to avoid those negative people. If you stay around negative people and listen to negative talk it rubs off on you and you become negative also. Be happy and stay around positive people. You'll get more done, be more productive and fell a lot better at night when you go home.

Try it you'll like it... remember: "It's a great day to buy or sell a home."

Good advice. I try to teach this to my child as well. She'll say , " I'm not going to enjoy this" and I'll say, " of course you're not, you've already made that choice." Then she rolls her eyes at me. (we've had these lessons since she was old enough to listen- I'm sure she'll be teaching the same things to her children)

What you said rings true to me. I have had some people seem to me like they are always negative, complaining all the time... and never having anything posative to say.... they are downers for sure and will certainly effect your mood if you are near them for too long. I tend to gravitate towards the positive people I meet, they are just so much better to be around. Good Post.

Hi James, Amen! Mewling and wailing will get you nowhere. I love having positive people around me and try to avoid the whiners as much as possible. Not to say that if you have real problems we can't commiserate but endless moaning and groaning makes me want to biff people.
