1. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain. —Anonymous
2. Never allow anyone to RAIN on your parade and thus cast a pall of gloom and defeat on the entire day. Remember that no talent, no self-denial, no brains, no character, are required to set up in the fault-finding business. Nothing external can have any power over you unless you permit it. Your time is too precious to be sacrificed in wasted days combating the menial forces of hate, jealousy and envy. Guard your fragile life carefully. Only God can shape a flower, but any foolish child can pull it to pieces. —Og Mndino, American Essayist and Psychologist, 1923-1996
3. Life is like a rainbow. You need both sun and the RAIN to make its colors appear. —Anonymous
4. The best thing one can do when it's raining is let it RAIN. —Henry Wadworth Longfellow, the most popular American Poet in the 19th century, 1807-1882 5. A poet is someone who stands outside in the RAIN hoping to be struck by lightning. —James Dickey
6. In our lives there's bound to be some pain, surely as there are storms and falling RAIN, just believe that the one who holds the storms will bring the sun. —Anonymous
7. May you always have walls for the winds, a roof for the RAIN, tea beside the fire, laughter to cheer you, those you love near you and all your heart might desire.—Irish Blessing
8. Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the RAIN. —Anonymous

Linda, first I have to tell you, I adore Gene Kelly, so way to go! That was a treat I needed this morning to prepare for what is ahead today! Thank you.
The quotes are all great. Have a wonderful Monday!
Hi Dan—With a name like Callahan I think you must have a wee bit of Irish in you ;-) My husband was half Irish and half French, so his mother was full-blood Irish. I must say she was full of blarney and had the greatest gift of expression I ever encountered.
Hi Andrea—there were many Singing in the Rain videos available, but this one has been a personal favorite since I was a kid. Gene Kelly is yops! Good to know it helped get you started on the right foot today. Have a great week!
Hi Sis-I love all of these. I can't decide which one I like best they are all so good. GREAT JOB SIS!!!!! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday and your week is a special as YOU. Thought I'd let you know I will be doing my ME ME in the next few days. I'll take your lead and DO IT MY WAY!!!! Later SIS. <BIG SMILE>
Hey lil' Sis—I couldn't decide which five to use so I used all eight of them. Oh dear, I may have created a lil' monster if you are following my lead - LOL! I can hear you singing My Way at the top of your lungs... ouch, I need some ear plugs!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with... have fun! (((((hug))))) Thank you and have a great week.
Hi Gary—it is a great scene isn't it! You just can't stay angry or upset whenever you watch it plus the little kid comes out in me and I want to SPLASH along too. Thanks!
Hi SIS-Isn't that what lil sistah's are supposed to do is follow in their big sistah's footsteps. So I guess that gives me LOTS of leeway. LOL Having major computer freezes so hope to get to that ME ME as soon as I can. I'm looking forward to it but work is getting in the way. YES, you and a few other AR friends have created a monster and there is no putting the cork back in the bottle<BIG SMILE>
Hey lil' sistah—<Smiling>You are suposed to do as I say, not always as I do....LOL! I know you'll do your meme when you can... I will not hold you hostage, yet anyway... Work comes first no matter what, as you can't let your clients down. If you did that we'd have to have a serious talk. One can always put the cork back in the bottle... it's a matter of wanting to and I think we like your bottle uncorked!
Maybe I'll start calling you Corky... hmmm, I'll think about that.
Hi Ron—I hope you will use these quotes and as often as possible. I always enjoy seeing you and reading your comments. Thanks and have a great day!
Hi Randy—I agree with you hands down that this scene is a favorite. I like your comment,"thanks for the memories, and fresh thoughts about rain." I hope you don't mind if I use it.. it's great. Thanks and have a great day!
Hey dear sis who told you this. Is this a big sis rule?- "You are supposed to do as I say, not always as I do"....
You should know something about your lil sis. She doesn't necessarily always follow the rules. She kinda makes up her own. LOL Hope you have had a wonderful day. :-)
A wonderful and magical post! Needed it as it has been a rough week. Loved the way you got those Rain quotes in there! No. 3 really speaks to me. Thank you Linda
Hi Michelle—It's been a rough week here as well. No. three is one of my favorites as too. Rainbows are very common in Hawaii... when you see the sun shining over the Pacific and the clouds hovering over the Ko'olaus (mountain range) and the two come together you see extraordinary rainbows! This is when quote no. 3 is blatantly clear! Thanks for stopping by... you're welcome.
