Model Condo Staging

By
Home Stager with Judy Heinrich Home Staging

Recently I had the pleasure of staging the model for a 6 unit condo complex.  I had so much fun with this project.  Since I usually stage occupied listings, it was a nice change of pace to do a vacant again.  I think it turned out great and wanted to share some pictures with you all here on AR.

Judy, it did turn out great!  You did a wonderful job.  I have the same chair - from Target, right?  They are so versatile, I want to use them on every job!

Sherri - Thanks!  I love the browns too... the second bedroom is actually a little more in the greens but it doesn't show up too well in my picture.

Marci - Anytime... there's still 4 left!

Kimberly - Yup Target!  I love that chair too, works well in small scale places.

Maureen - Thank you!

Penny - I got the iron piece at either TJMaxx, Marshalls or Ross... my standard shopping stops!

Judy,

You did yourself proud!  The pictures are wonderful!

How many rooms did you stage?  Did you use rental furniture or was it your own?  Did you already own the accessories or did you have to purchase some or all of it?  If you did shop for the accessories, would you feel comfortable sharing about how much you spent?

Erica, Kathy & Sheron - Thank you!  (

Sheron - this and 19 other jobs the last 6 weeks!  I think I'm finally getting a breather!

Val - I did the entire condo 2bed/2bath, office, kitchen and living area.  I used all my own stuff since it was really manageable.  I purchased about $1500 worth of stuff new, a little more than I would have liked but since I don't do vacants that often, I had fun with it and splurged a bit!

Yvonne - Thank you!  Yes it's been a very busy spring!

Lanita - Your right, it does add nice texture...I never even thought about that before.

Cheryl-Anne - Yes those are blow up beds.  I still live in fear for a phone call that they've deflated :)

Christine - Thank you...I am pleased how it turned out - especially since the budget was lower than I wanted!

Absolutely Fabulous!  If I am not being too nosy, approximately how much did you spend on the 'accessories' (or did you already have them)?

Val - You can be "nosey" anytime!  I had some of the accessories already and also bought some.  Unfortunately I don't keep good enough records to tell you an exact amount without going thru my inventory list and adding it all up, but everything I bought was about 1500 and that included some furniture.  I would guess accessories were around 6-700.  I did have some inventory already so I didn't purchase everything.

Lisa - In the picture on the left, the coverlet and shams were from Target, bedskirt from Walmart, throw from TJMaxx and I had the pillows, in the picture on the right, the bedding was from TJMaxx (a complete bed in a bag) and I think the pillows were from there too.
