I quite often look around on Craigslist for for sale by owner homes.  Recently I have started to notice more and more posts by brokers on the website.  I would like to start a conversation here among everyone explaining how you use Craigslist to benefit your business, sellers, yourself or any one else.  Have you found that posting your listings on Craigslist is a good form of advertising?  Are you getting leads from Craigslist?  I would like to know everyone's take on this form of advertising.  Please comment below and let me know your likes and dislikes of Craigslist and if you believe that it is an up and coming important marketing tool for today's Realtors.

Thanks and I look forward to your comments!

Hey Julie,

I've just begun using Craigslist myself, and I found that the best way to use it was through Postlets.com  Are you familiar with it?  You put all of your listings information in and it shoots your listings to many different sites, and puts together a code to paste into Craigslist that formats all of your information, pictures, etc. I can't say that I've had any direct business off of Craigslist yet, but hey, it's free and easy so it doesn't sure doesn't hurt to make it part of a marketing plan.
