Mirela -- these apps are just too fun! Hope you enjoy the phone and all of the toys -- especially the farting app! Now if that doesn't get rid of those telemarketers, I don't know what will.
Sonja: I was shutting everything down trying to go to bed early tonight, when I read you comment on my blackberry (I know I sound like a hypocrite right now, but I have both phones) and I had to come back here and comment IT. Yes, your middle school son will LOVE it!
Your comment brought me back here, because I laughed so hard when I read it:
I, like Rebecca, have not gotten a smart phone yet. I'm holding out for the newer model that recharges by vacuuming tile floors. (lol)
Now that's the kind of comment that keeps me blogging!
Thanks bunches!
Joan: I don't dare test the Atomic Fart on the marketers; they might end up calling me even more frequently, not to mention giving my phone number to some of their peers...
Evelyn: Yes, AT&T is it, the only one you can get the I-Phone through, unless you pay some young kid to unlock it for you, or buy it unlocked on E-Bay. That's why I have the basic plan with them ($60 per month give me a few minutes of talking and all the Internet I can use). I keep my blackberry and "the other" cell phone provider for the bulk of my calls. Hint, hint...
Hey, has anyone flagged this yet?
Did I mention the ActiveRain app?
Yup, you don't even have to download it; it's there already!
Sounds like fun. I do not have one yet but have been thinking of purchasing one. I had not realized there were so many free apps.
Hmmm... You don't strike me as the type who would appreciate a good fart joke.
Kimberly: You'll never respond well to a Nokia again, no matter how reliable it may be (and it is!!!).
Mark: Don't let this classy exterior fool you! I am a 10 year old boy in a curvaceous, tall woman body. I CAN PLAY!!!
Mirela! This is too funny! Believe me, I'm not moving your phone...not one inch! LOL!! I REALLY wish I were in an area with more reliable cell service.. I only have a CELL PHONE,, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.... I'm missing out on a lot of good stuff! I'm still in the good old days :-)
Mirela, is this a new boyfriend or an old one renewed? did I miss one of your posts?
Mirela - I hadn't seen the Vlingo app before - I might try that one out tonight!
Mirela, thanks for telling us about Vlingo and the other apps. I have twitter and FB on my iPhone also but to be able to talk and update? Way cool! ~ Sharon
Only Mirela would turn her phone into an electronic Whoopee Cushion! I wish we lived closer to each other Mirela!!!
Wow...you could have blown me away when you said you liked a good fart joke!! no pun intended. It just goes to show you , You can't judge a book by it's cover!!!
I am a Blackberry addict and proud of it. I will have to see if some of those downloads are available for the Berry........I am just happy with Sprint so I stick with what is available....
Happy Tuesday!!
Lori
Kathy: You are so right! Today I had a cash for keys I was doing. The fart app came in handy big time. The teenage son, the locksmith AND the father were all entertained by it. Diffusing an otherwise tense situation was so worth it!
Lori: Check it out; most of these apps are made for the Blackberryalso. I completely understand your Berry preference! As for myself: I like them both!
As for being blown away by my appreciating the whole fart thing: don't forget I raised two boys! That just goes with the territory.
Robert: Me too! We'd have a great time together.
Leolinda: Same boyfriend. We just break up at least once a year. We are having our five year anniversary this fall. Last year we broke up at Christmas, the year before it was at Thanksgiving, this year it was for Valentine's Day, the year before it was on my Birthday.
Several weeks ago, our favorite waitress asked us how we fared for Martin Luther King Day. It took us a few moments to figure out what she meant before we started laughing (she meant-did we make it through that holiday without breaking up). We told her we only break up on Major Holidays!
Sharon: You're welcome! You'll enjoy Vlingo. It really comes in handy.
Jason: let me know how you like it!
Mary: that's horrible! I wish you could find some more reliable service. I have two phones so that I won't miss any phone calls, yet I'm always with clients, so I miss a lot of phone calls. Then I have to retrieve messages from two phones. I need a personal assistant just to take all my calls. Hey, that's a great idea! I wonder if they have an app for that.
Thanks for the the great ideas. I love my I-Phone but you have taken it to new heights!
