In a follow up to my post  March coming in like a lion in Apex on March 3, this is North Carolina on March 31, going out like a lamb deer.. We have a beautiful warm sunny day. The tree are just starting to bloom. And to make it even more perfect, I was visited by my deer family.

There are actually 4 deer here, but 2 were lying down while these 2 stood guard about 30 feet from my back door where I was standing.  I talk to them very softly and they'll just stand there and listen. My daughter is now calling me the "deer whisperer".

How could anyone not want to live here? If you're looking to relocate or move anywhere within the Triangle area of North Carolina, please visit our website at www.JustNCHomes.com or call either my partner Craig Rutman and I at 919-771-7779.

Linda, that's just so cool that you see deer in your backyard all the time. Apex is wonderful because it has both country style living and small city living all in one. The best of both worlds!

Now, as far as that deer whisperer thing...........!!!

Hi Linda,I mean, Dear Deer Whisperer! I love this photo and the way the animals blend in with their surrounding so well! Good shot! I like your neighborhood, too!

Bambi!

Nice photo, Linda.  It's been years since we had deer in the yard.

We had an albino a few times 5 or 6 years ago, and that was cool.

Linda, I LOVE deer.  If I want to see them (or hope to), I have to go all the way out East...or to Fire Island.  They are such beautiful animals, I could watch them for hours.

Liz- My daughter has a great sense of humor, plus I think she's in a contest with her friends to see who's mother is the weirdest.

Craig- great picture of me, can we use it for our logo?

Mary- the deer are really hard to spot in the winter like this. The photo almost looks like it was black and white. Glad you liked in. Stop into my neighborhood anytime.

Nevin- most of Cary is too populated now, Our area is getting that way too. Actually, I've seen more deer in the last 5 years since they've torn down all the woods and natural habitat to make way for new subdivisions.

Mike- Can you think of 3 other names for my deer family? 2 years ago we had an albino baby too. He was around for the summer and fall, but we haven't seen him since. (see my previous blog on him).

Carole- I love the deer too. I have actually been late for appointments because I've been watching the deer in my backyard. Then my husband and I don't want to open the garage door and scare them away!  I think right now they're waiting for my azaleas to bloom so they can have their dessert!
