The Face of Foreclosure has passed on.

I wrote a blog about a homeowner who was in the process of losing her home to Fannie Mae that shot herself some time ago from Akron Ohio has passed away at the age of 91.The article does state she died and not because of the apparent suicide. As we have heard in recent news events across America people who have lost their homes and jobs have resorted to this. It’s a sad state when this happens but there are times when people feel there is no choice. Is there any end in sight?

Robert, I don't think the end to foreclosures is near. The moratoriums have created a backlog that will be released soon, and continued high unemployment will bring more owners into foreclosure.

Hi Robert, I remember this story and it was sad at the time. Sorry to hear of  the lady now passing away. I hope you are doing well in Grand Rapids. Lots of news coming out of Michigan these days with the auto industry changes. Looks like maybe some bankruptcies ahead for GM and Chrysler. Who knows for sure?

The amount of stress that some people and families are under, as a result of financial difficulties, is so sad it is overwhelming.  Stress kills.
