Wordless Wednesday.....my first time to do this.

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Advantage

I must admit I'm not real crazy about Wordless Wednesday or Speechless Sunday or Meddlesome Monday or Trecherous Tuesday or any of the others that I've missed.

BUT!

This picture needs no words.  My husband comes from a family of cattle lovers.  They have cows right in the city limits and are god-fathered in because they've been there for so long.  We've witnessed two burning barns that quickly became burned barns.

These cows are wordlessly expressive!

Barbara, is that a real picture that you took with your little camera?  It almost looks surreal.    Or is this your April Fool's Day joke?

Tell us more.

Anita, is this the real you back or is this an April Fool's Day joke?  I've missed you.  I saw your famous mother on the cover of the historical newsletter!  I did take the picture.  It is unusual I think!

Barbara:  These poor cows.  I wonder if we could get another barn for them included in the next Stimulus Package ?  Hope so !  Take care...

Well that is one way to get rid of the wood to recycle the roof:)

Mrs Barbara,

I think it is very important to post animal photos whenever possible.

Karen Anne, that is the most creative way of looking at it!  I'm going to suggest we apply.....

Charles, that was a lot of tin on the ground, wasn't it?

Nutsy, animals are my weakness, especially cute little squirrels!  And I don't mean you.  YOU are a handsome guy with a flair for fashion!

Barbara - I feel for those cows.  Their explorative stance just about says it all!  The buildings appear metal, what would have caused the fire?  Perhaps the hay inside?

Hi Barbara, I'm feeling sorry for these guys. You can see their confusion over losing their shelter. I feel bad for the farmer/rancher, too.

Myrl, the buildings were wood with metal roofs so all that was left was tin.  Lightning was the usual culprit.

Debi, the cows were confused.  My husband, who'd helped build the barn, was upset that it was gone.

Yes it's me....I haven't commented because you've been doing RealEstate stuff.  Not my bag.

I was surprised at the picture of Mother and her friend in front of the Legion Hut.....but the picture on into the article, of all those men having a meal - was The Young Men's Business Club.  My dad was a member and I can i.d. him in the picture, along with lots of other men from Searcy:  Truman Baker is standing on the left of the picture.  K.K "Deacon" King, owner of The Rialto and Plaza movie theaters is on one of the end tables.   Many many more guys I recognize.   I have that picture but it is a copy so I don't know where the original came from.

Sorry about Dude's barn.

That is an interesting picture. I bet it would be featured in one of those coffee table books of works by famous photographers. Good eye, Barbara.

Anita, Dude was looking at that picture of the guys using a magnifier and saying he recognized this one and that one.  Which is your dad?  He didn't point him out.

Don, I'm glad you're back.  When is the next trip?

Barbara - Very interesting picture.  Too bad I don't have a barn on my list of vacant rental properties! :-)
