Pretty neat photography, Tamara. ActiveRain has inspired me to take more pictures than I would normally take on any given day and to have some fun taking them.

Perfect photography through the trees to capture the sunlight at the correct angle and scope,

Russel--I used to spend a lot of time with my camera--mostly photographing my daughter and all that cuteness as a baby! AR has inspired me to take more shots too. It's a good thing!

Thanks Sonny--I did have to try a few different angles to get what I wanted!

Hi Gail--I have a few sun-star shots in my collection too. That's it, I'll blame the lines on squinting at the camera. I did post a partial pix meme, but haven't gotten around to finishing it. Fun, but tooooo time consuming!

Tamara- Great shot and did you use a star filter to capture this? I use to use them many, many years ago when I first got into photography.

Hey Lynn--Thanks, but it was actually me moving to capture the stars, a mm and they went away! It was fun, can't imagine what passersby must have thought as they saw me bobbing and weaving trying to get just the right angle!

Tamara, I tried your shot here over the weekend with light shining thru trees, yes, glad I was alone most think I would be a tad nutty trying to run around a tree and etc. I converted mine to black & white shot... post on Sunday

I would have loved to have a hidden camera on that one! Can't wait to see the shot!

Tamara, you are great with the comment... yes I looked weird happy my SO (significant other) was on the lake could not see me.... ranch hands gone in town... SO I was alone... trying to get the shot..

Tamara, I need to practice on it little better on light thru trees... OK I will bring my SO to your area... while our SO drink their "cups" while we chase the light.... see 2 nutty ladies.... not under influence by love of taking pic's.
