Morality according to one liberal church and where this country is headed

The job of the church is to hand out condoms. This is what one denomination considers "moral" responsibility! You can check out the full story here.

Many liberals believe that the bible is a book of myths and fables. That Jesus didn't lead a sinless life, nor is there a Satan or evil spirits. I remember having a "discussion" with a seminary student who was about to be ordained. She was taught--in Seminary--that there are many "myths" in the bible. This is what we are faced with--the sheep are at risk--the wolves are leading them.

Liberal leaders lead the sheep astray because they are ashamed of the gospel. It is not palatable enough. It is too coarse. It is easier to hand out a condom then to preach against immorality.

The  Barna organization   finished a new study on what separates liberals and conservatives. The results are evidence that there is a wide divide in the beliefs held by conservatives and liberals. It is worth the read.

There are millions of people living a lie. These same people are looking for answers. There eternal destiny is up for grabs. People need to hear the truth. We need to get busy. Time grows short.

This Saturday, April 4th,  I am going to Charleston, South Carolina for a workshop led by Ray Comfort, it is called Transformed. click on the link to learn more and register, if you wish--it is free. If you're close by maybe you can come to it.

 God's Chosen Leader Falls Short:

It is hard to believe, and yet we see this throughout the Bible--a coming to God and a falling away:

We are all in need of REDEMPTION

Pray for all  who have been called by God to lead.

Solomon worshiped 9  the Sidonian goddess Astarte and the detestable Ammonite god Milcom. 10  11:6 Solomon did evil in the Lord’s sight; 11  he did not remain loyal to 12  the Lord, like his father David had. 11:7 Furthermore, 13  on the hill east of Jerusalem 14  Solomon built a high place 15  for the detestable Moabite god Chemosh 16  and for the detestable Ammonite god Milcom. 17  11:8 He built high places for all his foreign wives so they could burn incense and make sacrifices to their gods. 18

11:9 The Lord was angry with Solomon because he had shifted his allegiance 19  away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him on two occasions 20  11:10 and had warned him about this very thing, so that he would not follow other gods. 21  But he did not obey 22  the Lord’s command. 11:11 So theLord said to Solomon, “Because you insist on doing these things and have not kept the covenantal rules I gave you, 23  I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant. 11:12 However, for your father David’s sake I will not do this while you are alive. I will tear it away from your son’s hand instead

What was that that Paul told Timothy, that in the latter days some would depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils? The Word will be fulfilled. Just keep praying and looking for Jesus' return....

NICE post, John...I am featuring it in, "Christianity and Real Estate"...we NEED to be "set apart" (Holy to the Lord) to be used by the Lord our God......

I am starting to see MORE posts in the group that need...."Tweeking" to be allowed to be in the group.... correction is NOT a bad thing...just sometimes needed, hmm?

=-)

John,

Thanks for sharing. The gospel is definitely lacking in many "churches" today.
