Hiking on Barr Trail, Colorado Springs

Barr Trail is located just west of Colorado Springs above The Cog Railroad. It starts right above Manitou Springs

and ends at the top of Pikes Peak. Barr is a 12.6 mile hike that gains over 7300 feet of elevation and

can take 8 hours to summit. Barr trail is full of great city views, wildlife, and is a genuine challenge.

Adverse weather condition and length of hike are definite considerations of anyone that is attempting the whole

trail.
