Ever wonder where some Buddha Statues come from?
Before I traveled to South East Asia I always wondered where I could purchase Buddha Statues. I have a huge collection of them from different parts of the world, from Jade to Marble. When I first started collecting them it was very difficult to find places that sold them. Over the years Buddha Statues have become more popular for collecting, etc.
On my second visit to Myanmar (Burma) I saw many, many Buddha Statues in the temples, etc. But it wasn't until we traveled to Mandalay that I discovered you could purchase very small statues to very, very large ones. And there are hundreds of thousands to choose from.

Most of the statues you see in the photos are all hand carved from marble.
