Inspirational Power Quote
Move Forward; No Matter What . . . .
"Life's rewards go to those
who let their actions
rise above their excuses."
Lee J. Colan
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Move forward; not matter what happen to us without excuses.
About one year ago Tiger Woods stood victorious at the US Open in Augusta Georgia, at that time he was recognized as the number one men's professional golfer in the world.
In what may have been one of the greatest US opens ever played; Tiger Woods won the 2008 US Open championship after winning the playoff round on Monday by one stork.
What was amazing was how Tiger Woods won the championship.
If you watched the US Open in 2008 you could see that Tiger Woods play in pain the entire US Open with an injured knee that would require surgery.
Tiger had the surgically repaired and then started his long road back with intense therapy to rebuild the strength in his leg and knee that would keep him off the professional golf tour for almost a year.
In his first completive play after rehabbing his knee Tiger played well, but not well enough to win. There was some talk that maybe the knee would not hold up on the professional golf tour and that Tiger may have lost his edge as a result of the surgery.
Two weeks later Tiger Woods hit a 15 foot putt to win the Arnold Palmer Classic in Orlando Florida.
I what was billed as one of the greatest comebacks Tiger won the classic after trailing by as many as 5 stokes during the classic. What was amazing was the margin of victory was by one stork, which accomplished on the last putt of play.
What can we take away from watching Tiger Woods winning the Arnold Palmer Classic?
He never looked back.
He didn't make excuses.
He remained focused under pressure.
He believed in himself.
He played with passion and purpose.
He stayed in control of his outcome.
Tiger let his actions speak for him.
Be a Tiger and move forward no matter what happens . . . .
