Enjoy a day long festival on April 25th to celebrate Earth Day at Mason Neck State Park in Lorton. You can start the day with a 5K run/walk and end the evening with a Star Gazing Program.
In between there will be a bird walk, obviously looking for Eagles, Hay Rides, Raptor demonstrations and so much more. Admission and parking for everything but the 5K are free. Food will be available from the Mason Neck Lions Club and Mason Neck has picnic areas by the Nature Center.
The 5K starts at 8 am and the festival events run from 10 am to 5 pm.
