SUMMARY
The beginning of the year is traditionally the slowest time of the year in terms of real estate sales here in Northeast Ohio. Typically, there are fewer buyers out during winter months and the serious buyers are those looking for bargains or people relocating to the area.
This years first quarter numbers actually fare well compared to last year. The average sale price is a little higher and the average market time is considerably lower. The next 90 days should be a better indication of what we can expect in the Orange real estate market in 2009.
