18 Comments on The Right Perspective: A Short Term Vacation Rental in the Tucson Mountains
Gorgeous pictures. They definately make me want to visit....if I ever find time for a vacation. Arizona has always been a place of interest for me even though I've barely made it out of the state of Missouri.
Mike,
Great pictures and commentary to go along with them. Make sure the Chamber sees your posts. :)
Steve
Mike, I'm inadvertently confirming my nickname Queen of Trivia bestowed upon me by my brother many years ago but here goes anyway. :) Steve and I both had the privilege of working for Great Western Savings turned Great Western Bank who first employed John Wayne as spokesperson, followed by Dennis Weaver. I wonder if Golden Gate Mountain appeared in our advertising?
Mike,
I love it! All three.
Bill
Bill,
Thanks!!
Kate,
So cool! If you find out the answer, please let me know.
Steve,
I never thought of talking with them. I'll do it! Thanks.
Lissa,
You'll get here, I'm sure!

Geez. I juggling 5-6 referrals a day and two buyers. I don't have time to paint.

Mike, any possible chance you and my Dad can push this beauty our way?
Nice Photo seems like a lot of artistic people like your area.
Mike, It is a great post, but I will confess I come back because the pictures take me back to NM Karen
Mike,
Always a nice place to visit...AR's Tucson oasis...!!! Thanks, Fran
Fran,
I like that! Active Rain's Tucson oasis! :)
Karen,
My wife and I love traveling to NM; I understand why you love it.
Kate,
Thanks so much! Have a great weekend.
Terry,
It's the truth! And I haven't blogged about the town of Tubac yet. That's an artist's colony south of us.
Tony,
Maybe your Dad and I should just work on you to come out here! LOL

Mike - What makes the things you photograph so special is the quality of having something of simple color and beauty, against what would otherwise be considered a parched desert. I have noticed the art work that seems to thrive there as well! What a delightful environment you live in.
I grew up in the South Texas desert environment, but I don't think I had a true appreciation of all that the desert has to offer until I went to Big Bend and on through New Mexico, Arizona, and Death Valley in 1973.
Russel,
There's a lot to appreciate in the desert southwest. Thanks for commenting.
Myrl,
It's a pleasure to see you on my blog! We do have our share of artists here. One told me that the light is different here than anywhere she's been.

That's pretty cool. Is it on private property or is it on public land? Who did the work? I knew John Wayne did many movies there, I remember seeing some of the scenery on the Navajo Reservation...
Doreen,
It's on public land. Don't know who did it, but I like it!
