Why We Post and DASH!
I was just thinking this very thing! How I so wish I could but no longer seem to be able to comment back to every comment left on my post.......And I TOO so appreciate all of them, and most often read them on my Blackberry - but life takes its twists and turns, differing commitments and ever changing priorities and sometimes we just don't get to do ALL the things we'd like to.
But I too - just want to tell you -how much I appreciate ALL of you! -) You make MY world a much sunnier place - Thank you!
Why We Post and Dash!
I've read recently that there are some that don't understand why members don't respond back to each and every comment that is left on their posts. Folks, I am here to say that for many of us, it is virtually (no pun intended!) impossible! We are writing for several reasons--to garner business from both the consumer and our fellow agents, to share knowledge and we sometimes write just for the heck of it.
I'm not quite sure which category this post would fit into! LOL
But, when we do capture the business from the consumer and our fellow agents, we must take care of that business! Being one who does not require that many hours of sleep, I feel fortunate that I can comment and write a bit more than those who require 8-hours of sleep and are just as busy as I am in the business. However, I STILL cannot comment on each and every comment given to me on my blog.
I want you to know that I read each and every comment--sometimes more than once and if it's really good, I'll read it aloud to whomever I'm with when it comes into my email on my computer or Blackberry!
When I post and dash, that certainly does not mean that I don't appreciate each comment that will be (hopefully!) coming my way on that post. When I return to my computer and can sit down, I do try to acknowledge each one and try to reciprocate on their blog as well. It doesn't always happen--as much as I wish it did, it does not! As a matter of fact, it is happening less and less as I get busier and busier. I have spoken to several other members who share my sentiments. It's almost a 'guilt' that we feel not being able to comment on everyone's but, there does come a time that we must actually work to stay in business!
So, I do want you all to know that I truly value your friendships, your comments and am grateful for your referrals as well! Just know that if you ever need me, you can phone me and if I don't answer, I WILL return your call! I also respond to emails! In the meantime, I hope you'll accept my apology for not giving you a personal comment each time you visit my blog and I hope you'll accept my 'blanket' thank you's and realize that I DO appreciate all of you!
And, please, understand that on occasion, I simply must Post and Dash!
