Come check out Fort Wayne's newest attraction before opening day !!

The Fort Wayne TinCaps will be opening Parkview Field on Saturday, April 4th for the general public to get a look at all that Parkview Field has to offer.  The Parkview Field Open House will start at 10:00am and end at 4:00pm. The only entrance available on Saturday will be the South entrance, located on the corner of Brackenridge and Ewing Streets. The North entrance, at the intersection of Jefferson Blvd and Webster Street will be closed due to the final stages of construction on the centerfield concourse.

While in the ballpark, fans will be allowed to walk Parkview Field's spacious concourse and take in the wide variety of seating options available. Continuous tours will also be available of Parkview Field's behind the scenes areas.

This will also make the first opportunity that TinCaps season ticket holders can pick up their season ticket books. Current TinCaps season ticket holders can head to the Guest Services area, on the concourse behind home plate, to pick up their ticket packets. Season ticket packages are still available for the 2009 season, as well as great individual tickets for Opening Weekend; Friday, April 17; Saturday, April 18; and Sunday, April 19.

"The Orchard", the TinCaps Team Store located at Parkview Field, will be open to give visitors a sneak peek at some of the TinCaps newest gear. This will be the fans first opportunity to purchase some of the team's newest merchandise, not previously available.

Only the South gate to Parkview Field will be open for general public entrance, on the corner of Brackenridge and Ewing Streets. Those interested in attending are encouraged to park in the parking lots just South of Parkview Field, located along Brackenridge and Baker Streets between Ewing and Harrison Streets.
