Good stuff (as always) David. I have learned quickly that being busy is good as long as it is productive. :)
Dave:
I have to agree with Jarad, good stuff. I just hit the button to subscribe to your blog. Please keep them coming.
Listings are still the name of the game. But, saleable listings are even better.
yep...I'm so busy I'm bringing on a new agent to help me. Sometimes you're so busy you miss deals. That's not good.
I think a lot of agents get frustrated at the fact that results for their work today are not instant. It takes time for the seeds to grow.
Great post David. Wonderful words of advice.
Success comes from within. True success is making sure everyone has access to everything in the world, hence we all have true abundance.
I agree with Jim's philosophy which is, "it does take time for the seeds to grow." You don't want to "throw the baby out with the bathwater" because you're not getting the results you expected fast enough. I think we've become as a society who all want instant gratification in whatever we do.
I think it's safe to say that we're all intelligent people in this community, and that we are all learning from our mistakes as well as our successes. The key is to continue to grow and learn and bring your best effort for real estate success through hard work and making the most of opportunities.
I heard recently an NPR interview where someone said, "it is better to develop a plan and fail then to have no plan."
David I've subscibed to your blogs. Keep them coming :)
Despite all the doom & gloom, I know several agents that are doing very well.
David, I am so glad I found your postings here on AR. I look forward to reading each and every one of them!
Working with the people out there looking now, I am learning a lot. Building on what Steve said, a failure to plan is a plan to fail.
