beautiful barn... I am a connoisseur of barns. sturdy ones, not so sturdy ones, those that are falling down. I should go north someday and photograph some Ohio barns.
Hi Bruce & Mary:
Nice photo.
That tree would make me a little nervous, leaning like that!
Have a wonderful week...
Morning Mary: Do barns only come in 2 colors....weathered or RED? This looks like a working barn still living a fully productive life...very nice!
they don't build them like this anymore ...what a great old barn...we have 1000's of these barns around here and each one is so beautiful in their own way....thanks for sharing...peace zane
Hi everyone Thanks for your comments! Yes, old barns are red and weathered and we can find them on any back road in any area of this country! I, too, love to photograph them. There's a certain charm about how much they are used despite what kind of condition they are in. Most are much better shape than they look! Have a great Sunday!
I love this photo! Love the color, lighting, and of course, the old barn telling it's story...
Debi
Hi Debi - As I child, I played in my grandfather's barn that resembled this one. Even the tree was similar to his. I'm sure it does have a story! Thanks!

I love that shot - I like exploring through old barns here in Tennessee - never know what you might find. They are rich with history of the area.
Tim & Pam - Tennessee has some of the prettiest countryside I have ever seen! And yes, it has old barns everywhere, just like South Carolina! Have a great week!
Mary
