of the Solano Association of Realtors are now entitled to a FREE RELAY account.  The normal cost is $149.00 per
agent, per year, if you are not a local member. 

What is RELAY?


RELAY is the easy internet tool for real estate transactions.  Realtors can

RELAY is owned by both the California Association of Realtors, and the National

Single Agent Sign Up!
You can sign up for your RELAYagent account on the Solano Association of Realtors RELAY transaction site.
Visit www.saor.org.  NOTE: Agents, please contact your Broker before you sign up for a single user account.  Your
Broker may have already signed you up under the Broker account.

Faxing is now included in your member benefit!
The Association is happy to announce that faxing to and from your RELAY account is now included for all
members.  Fax directly to and from RELAY at no charge, up to 1000 pages per year per subscription.  After 1000
pages, the charge is $0.15 per page, charged on a quarterly basis.

In-Person RELAY TRAINING at the Solano Association of Realtors!
The Association has scheduled "LIVE" RELAYtransaction training sessions for all SAOR members.  Take
advantage of these live training sessions scheduled for Thursday, May 17th, and Friday, May 18th, by contacting
the Solano Association of Realtors, whicjh is where I am now, posting you this information.  There is also a

 I attended the morning training of the RELAY class at the board yesterday.  Wow, are we good or what?  Our board has set up a great system for us.  Now all we have to do is use it.  I highly recommend getting out there to check this out folks.  It's got a lot to offer. Yep, went to the training Thurs PM.  Very interesting and I believe it will be great once I get into it.  I also believe it will continue to improve.  Just be able to work from any computer and allow others to be involved!

Melanie - this TMS platform will take a while for the majority to jump in, but the pioneers are already running with it. The system will improve greatly over time, it;s not a bad system at all right now.  :-)

I guess it's evident by the lack of comments on this post, that this technology and service may take a while to kick in.  I think it might be that the market is forcing people to focus on different areas and  segments of their Real Estate business right now.  As listings and buyers become un-manageable once again, this RELAY system will no longer be an added value, tool, or service, it will become a necessity!  This is my look into the future. What's yours?

I believe this is the crossover period.  The window to have our paper files and a tool like this to enhance the process is now.  I'm not sure how long it will last, but the time is coming when those fat files will cease to exist.  We'll be doing everything on our computers only.  Change is difficult, but we have to try and keep up, or we'll be left behind.............wait for meeeeee!  LOL

Maybe I should do a post with all the symbols and what they mean, that could take me some real research...  LOL  BIG SMILE!

 I think that's a good idea.  I keep seeing different symbols as I travel through the posts people make on blogs.  I hate leaving a space scratching my head wondering 'what was that?'  Research is right up your alley, so go for it!  :-)

Hi, Brad!

My husband and I already signed up for RELAY just last month, very good tool!  In fact, we just bought a CD/DVD labeler so we could customize the CD label when we create a copy CD for a transaction. It would have been a double-treat if our local boards offer this RELAY free to members. 

Question:

Say that we get membership with SAOR next year, you think we could renew our RELAY for next year and be able to avail of this added value your local board currently offer.

Emilie - you need to contact the SAOR to find out if they will still honor the FREE RELAY if you sign up as a member of the board! Call 707 644-5525 and ask for Anita Hawkes (CEO).  Tell her I suggested you call her to find out if you'll be eligible. Let me know if you need any assistance at all.  :-)
