Yikes Karen hanging NO artwork, that is a challenge and you did a GREAT job. I'm headed out to buy a couple more decorative easels this week. Love how you adapted!
Karen ~ Nicely done! The older homes can be so challenging with their plaster walls (I've staged many of them). You cleverly leaned art where possible, used tall grass to warm up empty corners, and used art on an easel to create the mood and ambience that art does when it's hung on the wall. I love your wine cellar vignette too!
Hey Karen! What a challenge when you can't hang artwork...You guys did a fabulous job!! Using easels for big and small artwork worked really well. I'm sure the homeowner was very happy too!
Hi Ginger -- thx for commenting! Yes, I felt that "Yikes" panic myself; but it ended up being fun. I am going to start using more easels I think. I really like the "drama" they create.
Hey there Maureen! -- thx for letting me know you approve; that always means a lot to me. BTW the wine celler was done by my daughter, Brette -- she was really into it. The seller supplied the wine and Peachtree Home Staging supplied the rest. She made me smile for sure as she rearranged and rearranged until she had it right . . .

Nicely done, Karen! You're a great problem solver. Using easels is a nice way to display artwork and I especially like the way lighting in the dining room focuses on the artwork.
Thank you, Nancy. I agree . . . that lighting helped pull of the free standing easel. They had had a very large wall mirror there and had never used that lighting. Now it's shown as a home feature! Glad you stopped in!

What a challenge! Artwork is such an integral part of the staging process, that this would be a tough one! However, you stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! Love your solutions, it all looks really nice. Just another example of a stager solving problems!
Karen, I would say you rose to the challenge. I especially like the wine cellar. Thank goodness there was a mantle over the fireplace, huh? Nice work!
Karen, I live in a home that has plaster walls. I love the features of my home but it does prevent a challenge for artwork, I use the adhesives. I love the way you used items to create height and the use of easels. Great job!
Karen, good job, thank god for all the architectural features like the window seat, the wine rack, and the bookshelves - hat really helped. You did a great job! I love the chairs - I have the same ones - great minds think alike... ;-)

Oh. Donna! That plaster is tough stuff! You know, I probably could have talked them into adhesives but I was concerned if there was any damage, well, you know I would have wanted to just curl up and die. So, I choose to work around it and it turned out fine.

thx Virginia -- I always appreciate your comments -- and yes, I have gained a new appreciation for easels via this project. I think they are a new trend, so I am adding several to my inventory. They are dramatic in presentation and I can think of SO MANY applications!
