In March of 2009 there were 7 homes that closed within the month for Ashland MA. This is the same amount of units as there were 7 homes that closed in March of 2008.

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Ashland for March of 2008 was $397,629

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Ashland for March of 2009 was $302,399

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Ashland for March of 2008 was $381,214

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Ashland for March of 2009 was $295,386

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Ashland in March of 2008 was 118 days.

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Ashland March of 2009 was 163 days.

 

9 homes went under agreement in Ashland Massachusetts in the month of March. The average list price of the homes that went under agreement was $298,157. The average time on the market for these Ashland homes were 141 days.

In Ashland MA for the period of January to December of 2007 there were 131 properties sold.

In comparing year over year longer term data for Ashland MA, it appears that there is still a downward trend in the average sale price for homes. The average days on the market for the homes that have closed year to date have gone down in Ashland which is not typical of most Metrowest towns. Ashland sales volume is not down that much either.

These statistics are contrary to many of the towns in Metrowest MA. Ashland has not taken as drastic a hit as some of the surrounding towns.
