Bedford NH Market Report - 1/1/09-3/31/2009

First quarter market reports do not typically reflect overall market conditions as weather, the holiday season and the inability to showcase curb appeal and landscaping deter all but the most motivated from listing their properties.

The Bedford, New Hampshire real estate market improved in the number of units sold as compared to 2008.  Averaage selling prices fell sharply as did most markets throughout the state.  Real estate is local, so selling prices and activity will fluctuate by community from statewide averages. Visit Hillsborough County Market Reports for first quarter statistics.

The current market conditions indicate that this is an exceptional opportunity to buy a home with historically low interest rates (4.75% fixed rates), affordable prices and a great selection of homes and condominiums.  Take advantage of the FHA programs available today.
