Thanks everyone...

This is my personal Lake Home and I sure hate to sell it!  Once I made the turn on the Hwy. from Katy I could feel my stress disappear :).

Gary...

People from Houston, College Station, Waco, and Dallas buy on Lake Limestone.  Do you know any agents I can e-mail the information too?  Could you put it in the Dallas MLS for me?

Dale...

You really would have enjoyed this place!  I was wanting to host a Active Rain Gathering here and insist you fly down for a couple of days :)...might still do that!

Yep...

Would have been a perfect setting huh?  Not sure what's up with the slide show, it keeps putting pictures sideways.  It's kinda funny thinking about people trying to cock their heads to see it :).  I can't get it fixed, so I'll have to do a whole new slide show.  L

Hi Liz.....I suppose there is a time for all things and while you will miss this beautiful setting, not having to worry about it's upkeep should provide a small silver lining.  Great marketing you rascal ;-)

Hey Gail...

No it's going to be a very big "no worries" on upkeep!  It really was a ton of work to keep that much land looking good, with it being 2 1/2 hours away.  I think we worked a lot more than we played, and now no playing just paying

What a stunning spread Liz. You will be out of the up keep on that home very soon. It doesn't look like it is the type of listing to hang around for long.

Maybe once you sell it you can head out for another diving trip.

Sabrina...

I would love nothing more since that has been my passion since 1978.  Unfortunately my lung doctor says no more diving!  That was a hard one to take, but I've got 30+ years of wonderful memories.  Hope you are doing well.  L

Hi Liz,  I have heard you talk about your beautiful lake house near your home in Katy Texas.  You must have some wonderful memories which you will keep even though it is for sale.  Lakefront property is so desirable - with that boat house and the covered patios, sounds like you have it all.  Hope you find a wonderful person to buy your lakefront home - maybe one of those fat cats in Houston?  :)

Hi Dear Liz,  What a great post and a great house.  Hope you sell it quickly.  Someone will be very blessed to get it.  It is so very nice.  Wish I could afford it myself.  Will keep my eyes open for someone wanting a lakehouse with privacy and such beauty.

Hi Liz - what a beautiful property, photos & write-up. When I read the disclaimer at the end, I was hoping it wasn't your personal home, but, after reading the comments, understand that it is. It must take a ton of courage, for sure...on the other hand, I trust that, whereever you go, you will be HOME, and you will continue to reflect all the wonderful qualities around you that made your home so special. All the best to you!
