Is insurance covered in the rate? Are they upping the FICO score requirement to minimize exposure? Which publications do you write for? I'm wondering if it's easier to be published as a lender?

The interest rates are slightly higher to offset the risk factor. I can go to$400,000 with a 660 FICO and 50% DTI or $650,000 with a 680 FICO and 50% DTI. I write for the local newspaper in their "Real Estate Guide", Northern California Homes and Land and a home and garden magazine called Inside Out. I don't know if it's easier to get published as a lender. I think it's the same as good website content. If you write good, you have a chance..Network and get er done!
