10 Comments on Do You Carry Your Business Cards With You?
Great job! You never know which one of those cards will pay off.
I've made it a habit to give out at least 5 cards a day. Usually it's a lot more and it does pay off.
I always carry my cards except this weekend and I felt powerless. Now I'm stocked up again.
Cindy, I started passing out as many cards each day as I can. Not long after I started in RE, my Mom & Dad went out to eat at a restaurant that is about 25 miles from here. They said while waiting to be seated they noticed my business card posted on the bulletin board. I haven't been to that restaurant in years and I don't know who put it on the bulletin board but I now know at least my name is getting out.
I keep cards in my car - but sometimes, after giving one out, the best thing you can do with them is to take someone else's information and write it on your own card. People are busy, but following up with them is easier for you than them, so get their information as well. Luck-
I have needed to replace my business cards since the last Realtor trade show.
I completly agree with having and giving out my business cards.
Hi Cindy, your mom gave you great advice. I put them in all my sport coat pockets and in my cars just to make sure I always have them. Thanks for the post.
Cindy: Keep taking the cards with you. All you need is just ONE of them to come through for you... and your strategy will have been successful. I have had people call me years after giving them one of my cards... and having had no further contact between the two of us... until they called me because of that card. Thanks for sharing...
Hi Cindy!

Have you ever noticed that the moment you run out is when you need them???
Cindy,
Great job of self-promotion. This is what it's all about today. :)
