Not really sure what to think of this. What makes a professional home sitter??? Looked at the site and understand what they are trying to sell. Interesting idea but I can foresee SO many issues to make our lives even more difficult. I wouldn't personally use the 'service', but interested to hear from others their experiences and not a website sell.

I must agree with Sharon. It seems that everyone right now is trying to think of new and innovative ways of selling and up-selling, trying to make some extra cash from properties. 'Staging', and bringing in some well placed items of furniture is one thing if you don't have time yourself.

I wouldn't trust someone living in the home on a simple background check and small deposit then all of a sudden they are professional house sitter? I wouldn't use a 'house sitter' at this time either as I can only imagine the problems. I would love to hear someone that has found this type of service to be helpful.

Your concerns are valid. There will be homeowners unwilling to have someone live in there property. But I see this as a viable alternative for homeowners that cannot afford Staging (or are not willing to invest the dollars) but are highly motivated to sell. Those will (perhaps) go this route.

The background checks are by no means simple, they will be extensive. The people behind this company have done their homework, are business savvy and understand human nature We are imperfect people - there is room for error from many directions as in anything.

I am so flattered & happy to be the Staging company for Professional House Sitters. I get to do what I love but not be involved other than Staging for the House Sitter(s)!

Did you watch the Good Morning America piece? I'll keep everyone posted.

I have done research on this but have not been able to find any feedback. I am in South Califorinia State, this must be new to this area? I have not seen any up-dates. I am awaiting to hear any feedback as none has been left for almost 1 month?!? Anyone using this service, or has tried it out with any experience?
