I am not website guru but I am trying to put together a website for our Mother and Daughter Realty Team. It is sort of fun trying to make it come together and be something that I can be proud of -- maybe somewhere down the road. I went to a seminar and if I didn't hear anything else I heard this phrase

"you're nobody til you're somebody@somebody.com.

I don't remember much from the seminar but that stuck in my head!

Advertise it, Web it, List it.... (Free Hookups)! Some you have heard of, maybe some you have not. I found most of them useful to me. I just wanted to share. This is not an advertisement, just sharing.

So I went on a mission to find free hookups for websites, advertising and listings: I would like to share what I have found so far:

Free - emails: gmail.com (http://mail.google.com), I think Yahoo has free email too.
Free websites: zillow.com, rapidlistings.com, Point2homes.com, ionweb.com,
Free Ads/Listings: Yahoo.classifieds.yahoo.com, domesticsale.com, chooseyouritem.com, getgoogleadsfree.com, insidebayarea.com, almarcus.com, MLSonline, Mls.com, edgeio.com, nls.point2.com (same as point2agent.com), googlebase/beta, oodle.com, livedeal.com, epage.com, local.com, basegoogle.com, check out www.freewebsites.com, also MSN has a free basic website
Free spreadsheets and docs: google.doc (do a search)
Not exactly Free but cheap in cost, not service: (SEARCH ON) vistaprint website (30 day free trial, then low as $4.99 per month) and you can upgrade. Has sitebuilder to help you build the site and it has 3 free emails. I also found Homestead websites - this is who vistaprint is using.

I tried to link all the sites up, but if some of the links don't work, just do a search on the subject.

Rosemary, it's amazing how much is out there for us to take advantage of. Sometimes I just google "free real estate...." fill in the blank. I'm always finding stuff.

I love all the info I'm getting from Active Rain! Thanks for adding more to my bookmarks!

Stefanie - thank you for welcoming me. I have learned allot from the group, hope I can give something back!

I have one more to add:

www.onlyopenhouses.com - lets you list your open house schedule. This is pretty good to help bring in the viewers/buyers hopefully. lol

Also add: Lowes realtor free marketing tool. Register with Lowes and let them know when you sale a house and they will send out a welcoming packet with your information on it. http://www.lowesrealtorbenefits.com oh did I mention it is FREE.

Someone said Home Depot has something similar but I have not verified that yet.

Another one that is good, if not already mentioned:

www.vflyer.com allows you to make flyers for FREE!

And my voite is on www.postlets.com very professional FREE listings.

I found out about another site that is not FREE but it is low cost. Domain/Hosting: www.1and1.com

This one would be good for those personal property websites - address specific or if not a general site about your listings.
