6 Great Places to Eat In Midtown Atlanta!

Whether you live in Midtown Atlanta like I do, or you come for the day or the weekend, you gotta eat, right? But, are you like me, and when that time comes, you go totally blank on WHERE to go? Ahhh, never fear, here is your

Midtown Atlanta Good Eats List

In no order of preference....

Flying Biscuit CafeIf breakfast you want, it's Flying Biscuit Cafe you need! They do serve lunch and dinner as well, but there's always a line for breakfast, especially on the weekends. Located at the corner of 10th and Piedmont Avenue. When you're finished....check out Outright Bookstore just across the street.

Cypress Street

Cypress Street Bar, or Cypress Street Pint and Plate....it's that neighborhood bar you always wanted in your neighborhood! And the staff makes you feel right at home! From the huge beer list (I favor the Sweetwater 420) to the awesome onion rings, this place should be on your short list! They are at the corner of 6th and Cypress NOT on West Peachtree as their addess says!

And the outdoor patio is THE place to be in warm weather (returning to ATL this weekend so I hear!) But you can hang by the firepit if you need to!

Billy, the Owner/Manager is always around and always has a friendly greeting for regulars and newcomers alike!

Firehouse SubsLocated in Spire Condominiums, at 860 Peachtree Street, the guys at Firehouse Subs know how to make a sub! Great to eat in or grab on your way to hang out in Piedmont Park! They also have a great outdoor dining area to enjoy people watching!

Fresh To OrderWhoops....located just one door down, also at Spire Condominums, is probably one of my favorites, Fresh To Order! Yum! Salads, Sandwichs and "to die for" Wild Mushroom Soup are the order here....They also have a fun Sunday Brunch! Come hungry as their salads are huge, but I've always managed to finish mine!

Another great outdoor dining option too...and right on Peachtree Street!

Little Azio

"Little Azio restaurants are an exciting alternative to traditional full-service dining establishments. The goal of each Little Azio is to offer our patrons generous portions of modern Italian fare at affordable prices in a fast, yet casual and friendly atmosphere." So the website says! And it's true! Good Pizza and pasta. You order at the counter, grab your seat, and away comes your food! Located at 7th and Peachtree Streets!

And guess what....Yep....ANOTHER place to dine outside if you want!

Marlows' Tavern...is close to home for me...like just an elevator ride and a stroll across the garage...hey I don't even have to go outside for this one! Street level at Plaza Midtown, 8th and West Peachtree.

Everything's good here (altho they do have a challenge getting my burger somewhere between medium and well done) The Black and Blue Steak Salad is my standard fare and the Patty Melt comes in a close second. And I love the Tavern Fries! And be sure to try an order of J.T.'s Kettle Chips, topped with Blue Cheese, Bacon, Tomato and Scallions!

TV's are everywhere....so you can always catch that football or baseball game!

There's a reason you often hear the phrase around Midtown..."Meet Me at Marlow's"  See you there!

Midtown Atlanta is full of great places to eat! But just in case you forget where to go, keep these favorite local spots in mind! And keep an eye out for your neighborhood REALTOR!

Wow, I have been out of the loop way too long. I haven't tried ANY of these places ... well, I trued the Flying Biscuit one Saturday morning but the wait was too long and we went elsewhere!

Hi Thom, you're killing me!  Titusville is a relatively small town and we definitely don't have many good restaurants.  Oh well, the plus side is less temptation :-)  Nice meeting you as well.
