ARE YOU LINKEDIN????

Are you LinkedIn? I never expected to be...

Sure, I had my LinkedIn profile, but I didn't promote it or take part...

My social networking schedule seemed full. I was already active with Facebook, Twitter, and ActiveRain...

A breakfast I had with my parents the other day changed my mind...

My father, who owns a Sir Speedy Printing in Villa Park, had just started with LinkedIn. He was excited by it's vast potential. He has 24 connections...

I told him all the reasons I wasn't taking part with LinkedIn. Too busy. Too many friends. Too old school...

I wasn't very convincing. These are the reasons I hear from people for not using Facebook, Twitter, or Active Rain...

So I figure, what the heck. I already have a LinkedIn profile...

So. You asked for LinkedIns. But, they are not under your groups or associations? Sent you an invitation. Let me know how it works out. Not enough hours in the day for FB, AR, LI and Twitter. But, I try. Lord knows, I try.

Ken, I have been linkedin for a while. Do not use it to its potential just yet, but hope it will be a valuable avenue in the future.

Ken I think Linkedin is a bit slower in connecting than facebook but its more professional.

I'm with Suzanne - not enough hours in the day! I'm on LinkedIn also but haven't really much time for it. ~ Sharon

It never ends does it? just when you get set up on one thing, people profess the values of another.....You just try them all and see what you can keep up with!

I thought the internet was supposed to make our life easier?

Good luck on LinkedIn. I will check it out. I agree with some of the others about not having enough time.

Ken - I have a linkedin profile but don't use it much. I mostly focus on FB, Twitter, and Active Rain.

Ken - I am with Robert. I have Active Rain, Twitter, FB, Biznik and LinkedIn... and I think I use LinkedIn the least. But everytime I go to a Social Media seminar, they all say the same thing. LinkedIn... you HAVE TO have it. I will send you an invite to you too, so we can connect there too and stay connected...

Ken I join EVERY network I'm invited to. Why not? I love it when someone who is just getting on the social networking bandwagon and I get multiple invites to be linked with them. It means I'm ahead of the game if I'm already there! If I'm already there - I have more SEO power!

Linkedin is a little more formal and I think you really need to be careful who you link with. I've had requests from people that I don't know, so I politely tell them "no".

LinkedIn is great - - - if you can connect with clients to, ask them for a recommendation.
