OK, we all know our economy is not at it's best. We’ve seen the gazillion depressing news stories and trillions of disturbing statistics. We are all affected by these challenges.

I think we should be confident in our abilities and brains. We shouldn't whine. We need to find solutions.
I'm filled with optimism and operate in “I will be creative, control what I can and move forward” mode, not, "I’m a victim.
'Oh crap. I'll just sit here, stress out, eat 12 Ding Dongs, 3 hot dogs and drink a lot of adult beverages.'”

As a way to share this “can do” attitude with you, I think it would be great fun and would help other folks that aren’t feeling the rebound surge yet, by inviting you to enter the Spring Fresh Contest at The Positive Attitude for the Weary Soul.

Sally Cheeseman, founder of The POSITIVE ATTITUDE for the Weary Soul group, created this contest to help us to inspire one another and share our creativity about what we appreciate, what fresh ideas inspire us and what positive results we have as we embrace change in our professional and personal lives.

This is what Sally has to say about the contest, the theme and the contest rules:

"Let's get this community rocking and rolling with "Spring Cleaning & Fresh Ideas For Changing Times"! Let your creative juices flow with whatever comes to mind when you think of that theme. Hmmm. Spring Cleaning.....and Fresh Ideas.....For Changing Times. Remember those little things in life that you appreciate!

The following are the simple rules for this "Spring Cleaning & Fresh Ideas in Changing Times" entry:

Starts NOW and ends April 12, midnight AR time
You may submit only ONE entry.
At least 500 or more written words filled with your ideas of Spring Cleaning and Fresh Ideas for Changing Times.
Your post must have at least one picture or video for visual appearance. (if you need help please contact me!)
Your title has to include the words Spring Fresh
Your tag line has to include the words Spring Fresh Contest

Hi Big SIS-I hope you are doing well this fine Tues evening. Sounds like a fine contest. Just want to let you know I haven't forgotten about the MeMe. Hope to get to it by Sat. after I get caught up on things. I love your flowers up there. Very pretty. I love flowers and birds. Had computer problems and I finally got them fixed thankfully. Good to chat with you again. Seems like forever. Later chickadee

Hi Gary—The entries thus far are amazing, as I'm sure yours will be as well. This year especially we all need positive thoughts and actions. I'm a positive person, but even I have been struggling to remain that way. Reading positve experiences and inspiring messages here in the RAIN helps me enormously to get back in my happy place. Good luck!

Hey lil' sistah—It does seem like ages since we've chatted, but it's just been a few days. However, the past few days have felt much longer because of heavy workload (which is good, I'm not complaining), so I'm exhausted and it's only Wednesday - LOL! Computer problems are one of the worst things... we've become addicted to them... at least I have. Partially it's due to my dependence upon the beastie for my work. Without this primary tool I can't earn a living (at leaast not as quickly or easily). Then there's all of the fun things I love to do whether it's here in the RAIN, uploading/processing my photography, keeping in touch with friends/fsamily thousands of miles away, etc. So, when things go awry I do the Charlie Brown ARRRRRRRRRGGGHHH!

AloHA Sally—It's been a challenging week. I think the post itself is acceptable, but my wee brain is so tired I couldn't conjure much of a headline... it's LAME... it's pitiful, but it's THERE!!! If you think of a better one, let me know... in your spare time - LOL! As IF there's any spare time these days to tread water. Time to get on the phone and talk to lenders... oh what fun!
